First Citroen Berlingo Stays On Despite New Model Arrival

Citroen is to continue selling its current-generation Berlingo despite the launch of a replacement, pictured.
The firm feels there’s demand for both versions, following the trend it started with the Xsara Picasso mini-MPV which will be sold until at least 2010 despite being replaced by the C4 Picasso last year.
The current Berlingo will be sold in both car and van form as the Berlingo First, and Citroen says the Multispace MPV versions of new and old will be priced at the same level.
There will, however, be bigger discounts on the old model. The van version will be priced at around £880 more for the new model, on a like-for-like basis.
