UK: Peugeot Partner Var To Be Renamed - Partner Origin
Peugeot has renamed the current Partner Van and rationalised the range in preparation for the launch of the Peugeot Bipper and New Partner vans in June.
The current Partner Van, which was first launched in the UK in July 1996 and has now sold more than 61,000 units, will remain in the Peugeot LCV range alongside the New Partner Van. It will, however, be renamed the Partner Origin to distinguish clearly between the two models.
Alongside the renaming of the vehicle, the range of available models will also be reduced to a single model based on the current Partner L specification.
It will be available in two payloads, 600 kg and 800 kg and will be powered by a 1.6 litre HDi 75 diesel engine. Five exterior body colours will be available, including a new colour option, Iron Grey.
Prices and specification details will be announced in May.
