Prestigious Prize For Corsavan
Yet another trophy has been added to Vauxhall´s cabinet after the Corsavan was crowned ´Small Van of the Year´ by the prestigious magazine, What Van?
The award is the second accolade for New Corsavan, which was named ´Best Car-Derived Van´ by Professional Van and Light Truck magazine earlier in the year.
Praising the newest addition to Vauxhall´s LCV range, What Van? editor Neil McIntee said: "If you´re looking to minimise your carbon footprint without compromising on performance, ride, safety or cab space and are looking to achieve these in a small van you can park just about anywhere, look no further. We reckon that Vauxhall´s latest Corsavan could be just what you´re looking for, and that´s why it´s What Van? Small Van of the Year for 2007."
The judges also praised Corsavan´s styling, payload and purpose-built load area – a feature uncommon in this area of the market, where a lot of vans are simply converted hatchbacks.
The latest piece of silverware brings Vauxhall´s haul of awards for its commercial vehicles to a total of 18 different commendations since 2005, while continued sales growth means Vauxhall Commercial Vehicles currently has its best year-to-date sales ever.
Regarded as the ultimate publication for van buyers and drivers, the What Van? awards are judged by a panel of drivers and fleet managers, as well as the magazine´s own editorial team.
