LDV Launch Proud Professionals Award
In a scheme that is sure to directly challenge the common public impression of the ‘white van man’ LDV are launching an annual awards programme to recognise light commecial van drivers who make a contribution to society. This first Award ceremony will culminate in a grand finale on the eve of next year’s British Commercial Vehicle Show.
Tony Lewis, of LDV Sales and Marketing says, “We’ll be calling on both the general public and the light commercial vehicle industry to vote for worthy professionals. The sort of people we’re looking for are the Royal Mail postman who goes out of his way to support a local community, the company that is committed to caring for its customers, or the painter and decorator who constantly delivers excellence and value for money.”
LDV itself have been giving the battered West Midlands motor industry a bit of a boost with it’s continuing success and good sales, add this award to the mix and they are becoming quite the hero. As yet it’s unclear if there is a website or contact for the Proud Professionals Award, but we can be sure we’ll be hearing more about it as the year goes on.
