Free Euro 4/5 and Digital Tacho Guide from Iveco
Iveco is offering road transport operators a free CD guide to the new legislation surrounding Euro 4/5 and digital tachographs, produced in association with Siemens VDO and Yara Industrial, Europe’s largest producer of AdBlue.
The guide can be played on any Mac or PC and answers a multitude of commonly asked questions on both topics, ranging from ‘what is AdBlue’ and ‘where can it be purchased’ through to ‘how digital tachographs work’ and ‘how to obtain driver smart cards’.
“2006 has seen the introduction of more legislation affecting the road transport industry than ever before and there is a great deal of confusion among operators as to how these changes will affect them," explains Chris Thorneycroft-Smith, Managing Director of Iveco UK.
“This multimedia guide answers the basic who, why, what, where, when and how questions for both Euro 4/5 and digital tachographs. It cuts out a lot of the unnecessary jargon and is designed to bring any driver, transport manager or haulage company boss fully-up-to-speed in a matter of minutes,” he adds.
The free CD-ROM is available by sending an e-mail with your full name, company name and postal address or by telephoning 08000 329339.
